Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will assist customers with product selection and purchases while providing exceptional service in a retail healthcare environment. Responsibilities include greeting customers, answering questions, processing payments, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, stocking shelves, managing inventory, creating product displays, and delivering medical supplies as needed.
Scheduled Hours:
- Saturday-Sunday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Thursday-Friday: 10 am to 6 pm
Job Duties:
- Greet customers, offer assistance, answer questions, and handle concerns or complaints professionally.
- Assist customers with product selection, provide recommendations, and process purchases.
- Operate cash registers, process payments, and handle returns or exchanges.
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stock areas.
- Manage inventory and restock merchandise as needed.
- Deliver medical supplies as required.
- Delivering medical equipment like wheelchairs, walkers, oxygen concentrators, and hospital beds to patients' homes or healthcare facilities.
- Handling the return of equipment, ensuring it is properly cleaned and prepared for future use.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records of all equipment.
- Tracking what is in stock, what is out for delivery, and what needs to be returned.
- Providing excellent customer service to patients and their families.
- Addressing questions and concerns related to equipment usage and delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in the medical equipment field preferred.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-service oriented.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product information clearly.
- Knowledge of products with the ability to recommend items and close sales.
- Inventory management experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Valid driver’s license required.
